While creating a cozy atmosphere through intimate spaces, a façade of large windows facing the river bank will open the main living room up to the outdoors. These windows, along with sliding panels that enter and exit onto a side porch will increase ease of access and connection to nature, and encourage the tenant to make mental or physical explorations of the river site. A unique and interesting interior that promotes creative inspiration will give hints of modern architecture but be balanced by traditional elements, such as the furniture and building materials.
