Final Study Guide Final Examination In-Class (150-points) Bring Two (2) Examination Booklets (“Blue Books”) to the Exam There will be three sections on the in-class part of the Final Examination. Each section is worth 50-points. Material covered since the Midterm Examination is emphasized; i.e., more points are allocated to it on the test—but the Final is cumulative. Section 1 is Matching/Identification. All lectures and assigned reading are testable material for this section of the examination. Section 2 is Multiple Choice. All lectures and discussions are testable material for this section of the exam. The emphasized readings listed below will be assigned more points on the test. Biographical or background information provided in Dolbeare & Cummmings before any of the specific articles is important. Close attention should be paid to the Introductions to each Part of the Dolbeare & Cummings book. In the Carey book, only the Introduction and Chapters 4 and 5 are emphasized. Pay close attention to the Basic Questions in the Carey Study Questions CD. Section 3 is Short Answer. All of the Section 2 information provided about lectures and readings applies here as well.
