Present your data in the tables below. Table 1. Raw Data Mass Yeast Volume H2O2 Mass Mossy Zinc Volume 6M HCl Initial amount 0.495g 20.11 mL 1.125g 40.10 mL Additional amounts Text 10.23 mL Text Text Additional amounts Text 9.56 mL Text Text Additional amounts Text Text Text Text Observations -After adding hydrogen peroxide to the yeast, there was immediate foaming into a thick like bubble paste -Itstarted slowing down after about 2 minutes -We added 10 more milliters of hydrogen peroxide for trial 2, and the formation of foaming started again -we added another 9.5 mL, but this time, thir was less of a reaction -the color became a pale yellow tan -the test tube was warm after the reaction, but became cool later For the zinc and HCl, there were immiediate bubble formation but no foam Unlike the yeast and hydrogen peroxide, there was no color change The test tube was warm after the reaction Pressure could be felt building up in the test tube, as the stopper was harder to push down 1CHEM 101L In-Lab 5 Fall 2021 Please indicate the hypotheses being tested and the trials that illustrate them. Hypothesis Category (i.e. Amount of H2 fuel, Fuel-to-oxygen ratio…) Trial Hypothesis 1 If there is an increase in H2 fuel, then there will be a larger rocket launch 1,2 Hypothesis 2 If the O2 gas is added first, then there will be a larger rocket launch 3,4 Table 2.Observations from collected O2 and H2 gass and rocket launch coressponding to their hyopthesiscategory Trial # Gas Collected First Qty O2 (units) Qty H2 (units) O2:H2 Observations (distance flown, loudness of ignition, etc.) 1 O2 5 1 5:1 No reaction (bulb did not shoot at all) 2 O2 1 5 1:5 98.52 inches, very small sound 3 H2 2 4 1:2 Pop sound, 212.53 inches 4 O2 2 4 1:2 Small build up fizzling sound, 218.12 inches TA ONLY (Grade Last): Formatting Late Penalty
