BUSI 410 Lab Practice 3 This third lab practice is intended to provide you with some practice using Crystal Ball to build and analyze simulation models Getting comfortable with Crystal Ball will make the later portions of simulation modeling easier Start by building a simulation model for Bob Knowitall s Newstand problem Instructions for doing this are in A Primer on Simulation Using Crystal Ball in the course pack You can ignore the material on Launching the Decision Table Tool on p 7 Once you have built a model for Bob s problem and specified the Assumption cell C7 the Decision cell C6 and the Forecast cell C19 do the following Put value 40 into the Decision cell C6 Click the Start button After Crystal Ball has completed the simulation run close the Profit histogram Click the Create Report button and make sure Forecasts Report is selected with a Submit the second out of three pages which contains the Forecast Chart as a window surrounding rectangle and click OK Word or PDF document Note if your Forecast report has many pages you must have made a Decision Table Please reset the simulation this time follow the instruction and do not make a Decision table Remember that lab practice assignments are individual assignments and are graded only for completion not correctness As long as I am convinced that you made an honest effort to complete the lab practice assignments you will receive full credit
