Exam 3 will be given on the date scheduled for the final exam. You must take this test. This final exam is NOT comprehensive. It is in the same format as the other 2 exams and is over only the chapters covered since Test 2. On exam dates you must be prompt to take the exam. If you are late for an exam, and arrive AFTER someone else has already finished and has left the room, you will NOT be allowed to take that exam and you will receive an automatic zero for that exam. NO MAKEUP EXAMS ARE GIVEN IN THIS COURSE without a valid, University approved documented excuse! Exams will consist of 50 multiple-choice, true-false and matching questions. The exam questions typically involve recognizing definitions, ideas and theories. There are also questions that require you to apply the learnedinformation to a described situation. Extra credit may be earned by correctly answering the bonus question(s) at the end of each test. The exams are weighted equally so your scores will be averaged to obtain a letter grade, where, A>90%, B>80%, C>70%, D>60, F<60%. No grading curves will be applied to individual exams. I will make a decision at the end of the semester as to whether or not a curve is necessary at all. DO NOT count on it! Plenty of extra credit opportunities are provided simply by attending class and correctly answering bonus questions. NO OTHER EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE OFFERED. Please, if you are having trouble in the class, do not wait until the end ofthe semester to let me know. I am here to help you learn! You must provide your own scantron for each exam.
