What is a psychological disorder?
A psychological dysfunction within in an individual associated with distress or impairment in functioning and response that is not typically or culturally expected.
What is the course of a psychological disorder?
The individual pattern it will take. Chronic (long term) vs. episodic (likely to recover in a few months or so, with some possible recurrence). Also, there is time limited meaning that the disorder will improve without treatment in a relatively short period.
What is the problem with determining if someone has a psychological disorder?
