thoughts and movements slow during depression
psychomotor agitation
pacing, fidget, and wring their hands while being depressed
Major Depressive Disorder
requires 5 depressive symptoms to be present for at least 2 weeks
Symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder
depressed mood, loss of interest and pleasure, changes in sleep, appetite, concentration or decision making, feelings of worthlessness, suicidality, or psychomotor agitation or retardation
