U.S enter Korea due to fear of spread of Communist in southeast Asia. The us military control Korea.
During that time congress approve a economic aid worth 330 billion dollar.
U.S support for infrastructure project: electric, rail and ports.

|
Korea became dependent in U.S. aids.
aid from United States was used for importing food and essential industrial raw materials as well as capital goods
it estimate the U.S finance on import aid are 69 percent

1961
|
It was the beginning when American aid to Korea slowly ended.
There are two reason:
John F. Kennedy assumed the U.S.
presidency. His government are cut spending. JFk emphasize the the theme of less u.s government help saying "aid to end aid or ―helping people to help themselves."
