Wall Breaker She is my best friend when I need a shoulder to cry on She was my teacher who taught me to be a servant leader my sister in Christ who never judged the real me Moving to the opposite side of the world impacted my life greatly I always felt isolated by my school friends and became separated even with my family Soon I found myself locked inside the cold and hard brick walls I did not have anyone to talk to about my fears my dreams or my goals My family started attending church when I started high school Being the new girl at school was tough however being the new girl at a church where everyone knew each other was tougher So many new faces unknown scents unrecognizable sounds began to startle me Each and every name color and smell made me put my guard up without my intention The teacher I was introduced to was an energetic beautiful tall woman She introduced herself to me and we greeted each other in a polite manner I was told that she would be my teacher from now on Feeling reluctant to step a foot into June s classroom I wished that I could vanish into thin air Nine girls in a simple pastel colored room with old book shelves that contained cover less Bibles and frozen memories of the past students hung on the walls The smell of lavender and coffee entered my nose and traveled through my body as if it welcomed me June tells everyone to sit in a circle Awkwardly we settled down still staying within their usual cliques of friends No one bothered to speak or even say a simple hello on the first day After hours of dry and lifeless class I was tired mostly frustrated June sensing the walls being high as an empire state building between the nine girls she tried to break the ice but fails After a short silence with a bizarre expression on her face she started an introduction that is unimaginable When she moved her cherry red lips to talk I knew then she was not like anyone I have met throughout my life Choosing her words carefully she started to reveal her
