Gruppen will serve as the Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) for the students in this practicum section. As such, she will provide instruction for the required competency modules, evaluate each student clinical experience performance at the enc of the semester. Students may be supervised by ACIs other than Ms. Gruppen from time to time during their clinical experiences in the Hope College athletic training facilities or in an off-campus placement.ACADEMIC CREDIT: One credit hourTEXTBOOK: Knight K. Students shall perform athletic training duties in their assigned clinicalsettings commensurate with their level of experience and competence. Students will be assigned a variety of athletic training competencies from Knight (see Course Goals). Theseminar will be used to discuss, practice, and demonstrate assigned competencies.
