The tentative dates for these exams will be. The final exam will be at on in Cook Hall. The final grade in the course will be determined as follows: Daily Grade ----------- 30% Test Average ---------- 50 % Final Exam -------------20% Grading Scale 90 % - 100 % A 80 % - 89 % B 70 % - 79 % C 60 % - 69 % D 0% -59 % F Course prerequisites: Math 104 or four credits of high school mathematics or Math 125.Course Objective: Business Calculus is a brief study of functions, limits, rates of change with business applications, differentiation, increasing and decreasing functions, concavity, and logarithms. Homework Homework will be collected 6 times during the semester. Each homework assignment will be worth 20 points. Your lowest homework score will be dropped and your daily average will be determined from the 5 remaining homework grades. Attendance policy: Class attendance is expected and strongly recommended. Attendance will be taken every class meeting by passing an attendance sheet around for students to sign. Keep in mind that your performance on tests could be affected by poor class attendance. Make up exams and quizzes will be given only with the instructor’s permission.
