Requirements: Each student will be expected to: 1. attend and participate in all class discussions including World Food Day. 2. be an active participant in group activities by coming to class well prepared. 3. organize and present two research article presentations. Research Article Presentations: Students will find two original research articles related to micronutrients of the students’ choice. The presentation is limited to about 30 minutes. Students must use PowerPoint for their presentation. The instructor will provide information to choose an appropriate article for discussion in class. On the day of the seminar each student will give his/her peers an outline of topics to be discussed and a list of references for additional readings on the specific micronutrient. The instructor will provide specific instructions on the content of the student seminar in class. Guidelines will be distributed.
