Introduction1.1 Purpose of OCDThis document provides the shared visions and goals of the stakeholders for Improving Thai CDC project. The success-critical stakeholders are the staff and interns at Thai CDC and the usc student development team. Since this system is for internal use only, the role of users and maintainers will be fulfilled by the staff and interns.1.2 Status of the OCDThe status of the OCD is currently at the version number 1.0 in the Valuation Phase. In addition the need for better communication via mass mailing will be satisfied.- The new system will allow for a more streamline interaction with clients and also prevent mutiple emails to be sent to the same Thai CDC client.- Allow for tracking project progress.2.3 Expected benefits- Less time will be spent by staff in collecting client contact information- Enhance communication with clients and potential donors since all contacts will be stored in onecentral location, making the data more readily available with easy access- Duplication of emails sent and client contact information will be reduced- Better project managementOCD_VCP_F11a_T01_V1.0.doc 2 Version Date: 09/28/11Operational Concept Description (OCD) for NDI/ NCS Version: 1.0- Enhance internal communication about project status and tracking helping to finish projects faster2.4 Benefits ChainStakeholders: Development team, Thai CDC staff, Thai CDC internsInitiative: First the system needs to be needs to be developed by the development team. Three issues need to be addressed by the development team. They need to create a database to store all the clients contact information. To allow the system to be useful for the Thai CDC staff and interns, the development team needs to make a UI friendly interface. In addition the team needs to develop a project tracking tool. The Thai CDC staff and interns will need to be trained how use the database to store, retrieve, and modify client contact information. They will also have to be trained in how to use theproject tracking tool. Training the Thai CDC staff and interns will allow for adoption of the new system and faster processing.Contribution:- Common centralized storage of client contact information- Less complex system access to client contact information- Allows access to all Thai CDC staff and interns- Analysis of project completions and delaysOutcome:- Improved project delivery times- Fewer errors and duplication in client contact information- Easier and faster search of client contact information- Enhanced internal communication and tracking of projects- Increased base of potential clients and
