While observing these attributes it reminds me of when we were growing up and all the people would keep and eye out for one another. But now this has diminished.Strengths Perspective Contd.The land and water was a vital part of the community that had been in their generation for years. But then it was taken away by the more wealthy people who had more money and resources then the poor community in Milagro. But the twist was when Joe planted the beanfield.Functionalist PerspectiveThe people all met at the church to do their worshipping and to pay to keep control of their religious beliefs.The men of the community met at the bar to have a drink and to carry on and gossip about things that were going on.The more prominent people in the community were the ones that tried to keep the poor at a downward slope.Ecological PerspectiveThe land should have been for everyone in the community but like always land has been taking from the poor in this instance also.Joe wanted to have a beanfield but the water was scarce. But luckily one day he accidentally kicked the valve and water shot out. By no means this would be allowable by the rich folks in the community.The land developers are not satisfied because they have plans for the water and new land developing plans and Joe has committed a sin in growing the beanfield.The people of Milagro are a community in which the water was scarce but if the rich can use it why not the poor?Social Constructionists TheoryThe community was close and wanted no parts of the deviousness of the wealthy people and tried to keep their circle of prosperity within their own settings.The wealth overtook the people that had no money and they couldn’t understand that growing beans would help the poor by letting them acquire food for their community.Rational & Social Exchange PerspectiveJoe came to realize by having the land he should utilize on doing something that was beneficial to him and the community.When a community pulls together the achievements can be unanimous in the outcome of the community.Conflict PerspectiveThe debate over the land with the poor and rich in the community.Why should the rich keep control of all the water when the poor need the basic essentials of the water, while they are using the water for more discrete purposes.Note To The WisePersistence and Pulling together will always come out with a
