Complete assigned readings before coming to class. There are good sample essays in your text for each type of essay we will write. Please read these models and the student samples posted on JetNet. Bring your book to class each day. Sometimes we will use it for assignments, and it is a good reference book for source citation.Notes About The Writing Fellows and The Center for Student Success: Peer writing tutors are available by appointment and on a drop-in basis through the CSS and the Writing Fellows Program. These services are free to all JCC students. Final class day -- Pick up portfolios and course gradeNotes About Homework Assignments: Some online homework hours will be required. Links to these assignments will be posted on the course JetNet site. To receive full credit for homework, it must be thoroughly completed according to specific instructions by the due date. The writing activities may be typed or handwritten, but should be legible and organized. Notes About Essay Due Dates: Essay due dates are firm and important. Come to class with a hard copy of your essay and sources (if applicable) in hand and make sure that you have an electronic copy of the most current draft
