Begin writing test protocols and design work. Individual Goals for Next Week: Jason Tham: Research UV irradiation, order UV bulbs and TiO2. Find orientation for team. Aaron Freis: Develop protocols for testing silicone liners. Jenna Spaeth: Develop protocols for testing silicon liners. Andrew Bertram: Work to find good protocol methods. Summary of Accomplishments: - The team met last week Friday for two hours discussing our project. - Aaron spent an hour researching silicon properties. He has also been in contact with Dr. Allen. - Jenna spent another hour researching Titanium Dioxide. - Andrew spent an hour researching UV/Germicidal bulbs and how they affect silicon. - Jason spent half an hour writing the progress report and conducting basic research. Statement of Team Goals: relevant information, begin working on PDS. Begin testing in the near future on the effect of UV light within prosthesis. Project Schedule: This week we will finish researching titanium dioxide, UV light, and prosthesis. Hopefully we can finish our PDS and problem statements this week. Then we can work on testing. Difficulties: Still looking for place to store prosthetic leg.
