To turn Astrodome into convention centerAll proposals are unofficial, which is why it’s future state remains unclear.- A lot of Houstonians hold special value in the Astrodome, being that they have fond memories from the establishment and deem it to be a part of our City’s history and should be looked at as a Historic Landmark.- Others feel that we’re paying too much taxes on a building that is not in use and believe that continuing to renovate will only cost tax payers more & want to demolish the
