There are good sample essays in your text for each type of essay we will write. Please read these models and the student samples on JetNet. Bring your book to class each day. Sometimes we will use it for assignments, and it is a good reference book.Notes About The Writing Fellows and the Center for Student Success: I urge you to take advantage of the center's professional tutors for assistance in writing. Peer tutors are available through the CSS and the Writing Fellows Program. Final class day -- Pick up portfolios and course gradeNotes About GPAW Hours: Sixteen online GPAW hours are required. GPAWs have assigned due dates and will be graded like other assignments. By week 11, all 16 hours should be finished. No comp workshop credit will be given beyond week 11. To receive full credit for GPAWs, thoroughly complete the writing activities and prompts in the workshop along with any other instructions, such as including an essay or completing an evaluation (you do NOT have to print a final slide). The writing activities may be typed or handwritten, but should be legible and organized.
