Fat: can be lower in elite athletes can sometimes be as low as 12%, but any lower is considered unhealthy. One should not try to achieve 12%. Percentage of fat also has to do with geneticsb. Men: again some variations; water 62%, protein 16%, minerals 6%, carbs <1%, vitamins trace amount, fat 16-24%i. Fat: can be lower in elite athletes, as low as 5%. Any lower is considered unhealthy.
