Students will be able to increase and improve their technical writing skills,and will also be able to understand and communicate the unique roles that insects have on planet Earth.ii. Students will be able to understand the insect collection process and will be able to identify at least 24 common insects orders.iii. Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the impact insects have on our daily lives. They will also be able to effectively compare and contrast insect structures compared to human structure andbehavior.iv. Students will learn how insects act as potential vectors of pathogens of humans and livestock.v. Students will learn the different ideas and methods for insect management.vi. Students will work in teams to demonstrate their knowledge of the course.vii.
