The jury allowed Brunelleschi to work on the dome but with Ghiberti’s helpi. Brunelleschi and Ghiberti were great competitorsb. Rome (the second phase of the Renaissance)i. High Renaissance1. Also commissioned Raphael (Michelangelo’s competitor) to paint the Papal Chambersi. Raphael was much unlike Michelangeloii.
