The Atlantic, Arctic, Indian and Pacific oceans cover about 3/4 of the Earth. •About 2% of the Earth's water is ice, 0.8% of water comes from groundwater and less than 0.2% is water from rivers, lakes, clouds and springs.Water, Water, Water• cool, cold•flowing• strong• natural, mother nature• satisfying• essential•H2O• pure• cleansing• moving surface• changing•free• water• bottled water•spring•river• lake, pond• ocean•waves• movement•rain• puddle• splash, drops• clearRainIn The RainRain In SculptureLarge Bodies of WaterPowerIceIce SculptureIdea #1Rain InstallationComputerware HeadquartersEntering Compuware Headquarters, the visitor is welcomed by a minimalist, high-tech interior and the distinct sound of falling rain. Although familiar, this sound is different from rain’s sound in nature. Programmatically syncopated, these rhythms of splashing water create a link between nature and this company’s digital profile. Following this sound, the visitor enters a triangular lobby defined by glass walls that direct the eye’s sight to skylights twenty stories above. From here cascades a collage of brightly colored, suspended glass triangles which form the source of the falling water. Rain falls from these into the pools of color formed on the floor by sunlight streaming through the glass forms.Idea #2Idea #2 : Tsunami Experience•Idea #3Ice Experience
