Be sure to click on the Browser Check link on the Announcements page or in the upper right of the screen the first time you login and anytime you use a new computer. This wizard will walk you through the installation of the software you will need to use the MyAccountingLab resources (such as Flash). TUTORIAL CLASSES ARE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTING IN THE LEARNING ROOM CBC 106fgfgfgfTEACHING METHODOLOGYClass sessions consist of lectures, in-class exercises and exams. The lectures will present aconceptual overview of the material. Participatory teaching methods will be emphasized, a keyteaching strategy being discussion and analysis. Teaching methods will include group and self-directed study, student led discussion, and lectures.You are required to read the relevant chapter(s) before attending class so that we caneffectively use class time to your benefit. Students prepared for class (read the chapters, donethe assigned problems) earn higher grades and learn much more than students that are notprepared. Students are expected to bring the textbook to lecture in order to participateand understand examples.This is a rigorous course. As such, class attendance is vital to the successful completion of thiscourse. You are strongly encouraged to attend every session of the class, come on time andremain until the class adjourns. When you come late, leave early or miss altogether it not onlyinterferes with your learning but with that of others in class. Please see me if you anticipateproblems in class attendance.fgfgfgfCOURSE PREREQUISITESACG 2021 or equivalent with grade of C or better. Students who have not met this prerequisite should not be enrolled and are advised to drop the course through the Office of Registration and Records immediately.
