A word about excuses: In order for an absence or missed work of any kind to be excused the student must provide written, verifiable documentation to the CS 202 course coordinator, Dana Hooper, within one week of the absence/due date. Excuses must contain the student's name, the date of the missed work and the signature and contact information of an official person who can verify the validity of the excuse. It is the responsibility of the student to provide this documentation in a timely manner as previously described. When a student provides a valid excuse, the course coordinator will send the student an email giving permission to make-up the work in question. The student is then required to bring a printed copy of the coordinator's email message on the make-up day.
