I plan a lesson based on content or skills that need to be covered and then if students make suggestions I will accommodate or revise on the fly. Occasionally I was able to construct units/or lessons based on student interest but the practice was not always in the forefront of my lesson plan writing mind. I want to have a classroom where each student has a voice and impact on their learning, my learning and the rest of the classes learning.
