HTML Tutorial for Beginners HTML Crash Course It also covers the basics of HTML and CSS validating web pages and how to inspect network traffic using Chrome Dev Tools Additionally it teaches the skills needed to build fast and beautiful websites that look great on all kinds of devices By the end of the course you will have the knowledge and skills to create professional quality websites with HTML and CSS back end development and full stack development in this course we re going to focus on front end development and learn the fundamentals of web development with HTML and CSS This course is the first step towards becoming a web developer It covers the fundamentals of web development with HTML and CSS and teaches the skills needed to build fast and beautiful websites that look great on all kinds of devices It also covers the basics of HTML and CSS validating web pages and how to inspect network traffic using Chrome Dev Tools At the end of the course you will put all of this together to build a beautiful web page Back end development involves both front end and full stack development Front end developers use HTML css and javascript to build front ends and back end back ends have different sets of tools available to them which is outside the scope of this course The better you learn and understand these languages and their features the better you will be at front end development In this lesson I m going to teach you four essential skills that every front end developer must have in order to be a good web developer This video is the first hour of Mosh s Ultimate HTML and CSS series It covers how to use CSS to style HTML elements such as setting the width border radius float and font weight properties It also shows how to use the class attribute to apply styles to specific elements The full course is 13 hours long and covers everything needed to build professional quality websites with HTML and CSS By default browsers display emphasized content in italics but don t assume that whenever you want to display italic content you should use the m element The m element represents the stress emphasis of its content so whenever we want to emphasize some content we can wrap it inside an m or emphasis element In the past we had an element called I which was short for italic if we use this element we get the same result as before but this element is considered departure because styling should be done in CSS and not in HTML This video is about how to create links and use HTML entities on web pages It covers topics such as relative and absolute URLs anchor elements and how to use images as links The main takeaway is that HTML entities and links are essential for creating a functional website We start with a forward slash and this represents the root of our website at this level we have access to index html We can also link to non HTML documents like images powerpoints and so on so let s add a link to my image so for the href I m going to say images slash mosh jpg and for the text we mash jpg We have to manually refresh the page because the live server only refreshes the current page This video is an introduction to HTML and CSS and is the first hour of a 13 hour series It covers topics such as alternative text sizing images and object fit At the end of the video Mosh encourages viewers to enroll in the full course which includes summary notes exercises a real project a certificate of accomplishment and a 30 day money back guarantee
