What are at least three ways children s literature facilitates students learning of content language development and improved reading abilities When children are exposed to books at the earliest possible age the print they see constantly matches the pictures and the children start to get a grasp on what the words are even before we teach them By having adults read to children this helps process the words with what they are and helping the child to process these words and how to say them Books that are pleasing to look at and are fun children will want to read and look at many times over My son loves to read and I m so thankful for that I started reading to him when he was about 3 months old I contribute this to his love of reading Every night we read books when he was 5 years old he started to read on his own I always encouraged him to have books along with toys When he would get special treats books would a special treat Helping a child to love reading will help them understand what s in the book help them develop language skills and help improve their reading abilities
