CJUS P300 Fugitive from untouchable Journal Response SUMMARY RESPONSEThe movie begins with a background on Al Capone, and whilethe subtitles tell the background of the era, spirited Al Capone is shaving while comfortably answering a reporter's interview. The camera turns to several mafiosi who are persuading the owner to buy his own beer. A young girl who came to play with the alcohol lifted the suitcase left by the mafia membersbecause of her own good intentions and ended up dying in the ensuing explosion. The mafia members drove away in a hurry after the explosion.Elliott, a bootlegging commissioner fresh from the Treasury Department, is outraged by the newspaper news of the girl's death in the bootlegging war, and then goes to work with therelief of his wife. After dismissing the noisy reporters, he went to the police force in charge of the operation and ordered everyone to set an example from now on not to drink anymore, while giving instructions for an operation against a large shipment of newly arrived Canadian whiskey.Elliott conducted a large-scale operation based on an informant's tip, and the police officers lurking during the operation were almost exposed by the reporters following the shooting. But when they storm the warehouse, they find that the original Maple Leaf-marked crate contains no liquor, only umbrellas.disillusioned Elliott looks at the newspaper that mocked him and angrily throws his wife's note into the water. A passing policeman saw that he was out of sorts, so he came over and sniffed at him for a few moments before ignoring him. By the way, he educated him on the way police handle things.Capone received the news of the breakfast and the police setback in his own home, and he laughed out loud.Al Capone made a triumphant appearance. He looked funny and polite in front of the camera. He acted like a gentle and humorous friend. But when the barber accidentally hurt his face, he showed his fierce side.Al Capone's men, much like him, acted very non-threatening, but struck with considerable ruthlessness and relentlessness. They never threaten and use the most vicious means for everything. And the little girl's kindness and understanding of manners made her unintentionally involved in this tragedy, losing her life.Elliott's debut seems very childish. He believes in justice and loves media attention. He loves to give strict orders to police officers. He appears very young and arrogant, believing that it is a normal thing for good to defeat evil. He believes that everything should be done in strict accordance with legal procedures.Elliott's initial action was undoubtedly disgraceful. Combined with all his previous actions, this failure could be said to be completely expected, and even enjoyed by those officers. It was a fateful encounter where Elliott, full of enthusiasm, met the help he needed most. Marlon, as an experienced and well-informed veteran police officer, was able to offer Elliott unimaginable help and even teach him the ways of doing things that he needed to master to be a police officer. Although here the two people only met for the first time, but Malone gave Elliott a deep impression. In this encounter, Capone was victorious and Elliott was defeated, and this contrast was shown very clearly.CJUS P300 Fugitive from untouchable Journal Response SUMMARY RESPONSEThis was the closest Elliott came to giving up. He realized that not only was Capone standing against him, but even the officers in the police department might not support him. Fortunately, the families of the victims were here to provide him with the most basic support.Despite his best efforts to persuade, it looked like the veteran police officer really wasn't interested in fighting crime anymore. It was as if Marlon had said that Elliott had come too late.Malone finally could not give up the pursuit of justice. But knowing Chicago better, he was ready to teach Elliott how to execute justice efficiently. Although Elliott needs his help, he is still unwilling to give up the pursuit of the legality of his actions. After abandoning certain bottom lines, a more unscrupulous approach would instead be better for fighting crime at this particular point in time. Elliott gave up his steadfastness, but gained such great results in the combat. In this encounter, Capone lost. But cunningly he chose another way to solve his trouble. The fact that he could mobilize the councilors to send bribes for himself shows that Capone already has a high social status in the city. The accident made Elliott determined to completely exclude his family from the matchup. He sent his family away also represented the letting go of his last restrictions. He would begin to fight crime by any means necessary. The next morning, Elliott came to work and found a newspaper headline mocking him posted in his office. Just as he put the headline on the wall in frustration, the mother of the girl who died in the bootlegging war came to thank and encourage him.Elliott goes to the police officer he met before and tries to recruit him to organize a police force for himself to combat bootlegging, but the officer lamentably refuses. Elliott returnshome and thinks about his response next to his wife and daughter who are watching TV.The new commissioner from Washington suggested that Elliott start with Al Capone's unpaid taxes, but Elliott saw the previous officer come to him in civilian clothes on his own initiative. So he and the officer went to a place where no one was eavesdropping, and the two began to plan a way to defeat Al Capone. They then went to the police academy, recruited a sense of justice and brave newcomer Stone. With the help of veteran Constable Malone, Elliott, Stone, and the newly arrived commissioner raided the post office warehouse and seized a large quantity of Capone's liquor. The triumphant four had their pictures taken by reporters at a celebration party. An enraged Capone executed one of his own gang members at the banquet. Elliott is at work the next day when a congressman walks into his office, congratulates him on his success and tries to bribe him.Enraged Eliot tells him to deliver his own warning to Capone and throws him out of his office. Before returning home for the night, a member of the Mafia threatens Elliot that something bad might happen to his family. An enraged Elliott sent his family away
