Give this assignment as much attention as you would a final. We encourage you to complete this assignment with the intentionality of using it to enhance your life and well-being. We hope you will use this as a tool to realize your wellness vision.Throughout the semester you learned a lot about who you are and your personal wellness. You learned about whole-person well-being and where you can go on your wellness journey. Now you are going to envision your best life and map out how to make that a reality. Carefully read and follow the instructions to make the most of this process. All your responses MUST be typed in the provided textbox for each question.Question 1: Wellness DefinitionWhat does wellness mean to you? What impacts your wellness? Utilize what you have learned through the Wellness Inventory and lab as well as your own personal thoughts and experience. Question 2: Create Your Wellness VisionHere you will create your own Wellness Vision. Follow the below instructions to do so and type in your finalized Wellness Vision in the blank.First, give yourself plenty of time and a conducive environment to focus and think. Next, imagine yourself functioning at your best. Imagine yourselfliving life to the fullest. What do you envision? Also consider the following to create a wellness vision for yourself. What Wellness Vision do you want to achieve in the next 6 months to 3 years?- Reflect on your Wellness Inventory Assessment scores. Consider your dimension scores and level of motivation scores.- What qualities would you like your life to have?- Make it more about who you want to be, not what you want to “do”. You will specify that later in the assignment.- You won’t need to goal set or strategize yet, just envision.- Your vision should be positively stated, something that is possible and attractive to you. It should be something exciting to move towards.- Keep it concise and inspirational.- Consider how you will use your vision to move towards high level wellness (consider the Illness-Wellness Continuum) Question 3: Knowing your why It is important that we understand the purpose behind our vision. Keeping this in mind can help us stay on track to achieving our vision. What is the “why” for your vision? What is the purpose behind wanting to realize your vision? Why do you want to realize the wellness vision you created?PED 101: Wellness Vision Plan Student Name: ___________________________________Question 4: What needs to change Consider what needs to change in your life to realize your Wellness Vision? Keep your Wellness Inventory Assessment results in mind. Question 5: Areas for Focus Now you will start to map out the way to realize your vision. To do so you will determine 3 areas of your wellness for focus. You will list those below and explain why you selected them.To determine the 3 areas of your wellness you want to focus on they need to be areas you want to seek to improve over the next 3-6 months that will help you realize your vision. We will call these wellness areas for focus. What are your 3 wellness areas for focus AND WHY did you select these specific areas of focus? Consider the following.- Your Wellness Inventory Assessment results- Select areas for focus on that are truly a priority for you- Select areas for focus on that you currently feel ready to work on (high motivation)- Consider your whole-person well-being, not just one aspect of your wellness. Remember that the dimensions of wellness interact with one another.- These still aren’t goals. We will get to those.- Brief example: One of my areas of focus is “eating” because I want to improve my well-being through increasing the amount of vegetables I eat and enjoy on a daily basis. Question 6: Goal Setting Now it is goal time! Below set one goal PER wellness area for focus that you set above. These should be goals that you will start pursuing soon. Your goals must include the following.- Each goal must include SMART components. It needs to be: Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic, Time-Oriented. Make sure it is clear that your goal is SMART.o The Virtual Coach on the Wellness Inventory can help you with thisPED 101: Wellness Vision Plan Student Name: ___________________________________- Remember your “Why?” when setting your goals- Your goals should move you closer to your overall Wellness Vision specified in #2.- Your goals should represent the changes you want to realize in those areas of focus you selected in #5. This should be the outcome you want to realize in each specific area by your specified time.- Brief Example: For my eating area of focus: Eat at least 5 servings of colorful vegetables each day that I enjoy. Try newrecipes and vegetables to discover what I do enjoy. I will accomplish this by the end of next semester after gradually increasing the servings of vegetables I eat through finding new enjoyable foods, exploring convenient ways to incorporate them and acclimating myself to increased fiber intake. Type your response below. Make sure you specify which wellness area for focus each goal is associated with. Question 7: Action Steps Next you will create a plan for what you will actually DO to achieve your goals in the short term. We call these action steps. Below write at least one action step for each of your goals in #6. They must include/consider the following:- These represent things you are making a commitment to DO. It should be clear what you will do. If there is no action involved it is not an action step.- Action steps are short term. (Ex: X days per week) What will you will do from day-to-day, week-to-week…right now.- These are behavioral actions that will bring you closer to your goal and ultimately, your vision. Always remember yourwhy.- Consider this: Ideally you will set weekly action steps to accomplish small, manageable steps on a regular, consistent basis. Therefore, your action steps may resemble a staircase, gradually bringing you closer to your goals/vision. The action steps you set for this assignment just need to be the immediate ones—your first steps.- You have practice making action steps through the Wellness Inventory. You can include those Action Steps if they fit with you goals for this assignment and are truly action
