Contracts Cont 10 08 2013 Statute Of Frauds Part of the law that states that some kinds of transactions are so important or different that the law will not enforce agreements about them unless something in writing set forth all the material terms and signed by the party that is trying to deny the deal Easiest way to meat the statute of frauds is to provide a writhen contract proving so Examples of said transactions are o Real Estate Contracts o Agreement made for more then one year to complete o Promise to a 3ed party to pay the debt of another o Promise of an executor or administrator to pay an estate debt from his personal funds o Sale of goods 500 or more Parole Evidence Rule Oral testimony will not be allowed if its intent is to modify or contradict a written contract which appears complete on its face if it relates to something that came before or at the same time as the written contract
