Demonstrate how a job analysis increases productivity, aids in job description creation, and guides employee team formationJob analysis can increase productivity by empowering employees to have more of a say so when making critical decisions. They will recognize there are ramifications behind their decisions. Giving employees more responsibility gives them pride and increases moral. I can only speak for myself, but when I am trusted with a task; I work hard at it and gain a sense of validation. Productivity can also be a benefit to companies by having a clear understanding ofyour job. Currently I work as a Project Coordinator. My job position has changed 6 times in 4years. I am not sure why, but I am told that I have strong organizational skills. In the past the company has suffered at the hand of persons not completing task and finishing jobs. I have coordinated two different departments. You can increase productivity if you feel validated, but I have to say that not really understanding my job description has been difficult. I believe you need a true job description so you don't feel that you are not being used or taken advantage of.Response 2Job analysis is a great way for company's to gather information about jobs, duties, what typesof employees they will need to perform those work duties. When a company understands what it takes to perform a job it is easier to explain to an employee what is expected from them as far as job performance.This helps with productivity because the employee will understand exactly how the job is to be performed, which also aids with safety procedures because the employer gives a more of astep-by-step guide on how to perform each task.Employees can also help in the area of productivity because they work directly with the job on a daily basis and will be able to give employers ideas on how to make the job more productive. The employee may see things that needs upgraded or another way to perform the job with better and safer results, which can lead the company in the right direction to making changes in the description of the job.Most company's appreciate this initiative from employees and praise them on their help because the more productive a company is, the more sales and revenue it will bring in. The "team" effort helps keep up moral, which leads to more
