Moving toward and integrated electronic medical records system, with encryption software todetect and expose breeches in HIPPA violations. This is where health care facilities are moving in, and in many ways will change how health care is delivered. Information management becomes the central focus of health care. Voice recognition software will change the manner in which medical records are transcribed, stored and communicated between providers. The impacts upon the organization greatly affect patient care. Older workers who are unfamiliar with information technology and data entry will have a difficult time switching to a paperless system. However, the younger generation will have a much easier time converting to a data entry system. Some data entry systems are very user friendly, some systems are not. How complicated the system is will greatly enhance patient care or detract from it. So as we enter this transition period to a paperless system, the focus needs to be on how the patients can best be served with a user friendly data entry
