What do you think is the best way to deliver policies, procedures, and training to employees working abroad? Explain your reasoning.I believe their are different ways you can train employees. Personally I am a hands on person.I learn better on the job. I realize this isn't always possible, so another way would be via satellite or send someone to do the training. When I was a laid off about five years ago, the company sent a representative from India to learn our systems. That person was in town for a month learning the in's and out's of the company and the department. This person went to each person in the department and learned the different procedures for each position. I believe this was a great way for them to learn, however it is hard for one person to retain all of the different task. We created different training modules for them to follow, but I am sure it was a major endeavor. We found that the person was overwhelmed and our manager had to fly to India to help implement the job. It is hard to train for any job, and with a learn curve as well as a language barrier this is a difficult task.Response 2I would have to say that the best way would be to have a person in a position that could go and deliver and train these employees out in the field, that way the company is not losing money with these employees coming to a training facility and they do not have to pay for all their time and travel, they can just pay one guy to travel and train these employees. This would even work if the company had large groups all over and if they had to they could have a couple of these trainers and delivers to help spread the policies and information faster and more effective. They could also use video conferences to deliver these tasks and it would save time and money as well as long as the employees had a office that the company had set up close
