Conflict of Interestupholding confidentiality of information Confidentiality is important in Human Resources because since employees in this departments are responsible for a great deal of information such as; social security numbersmedical recordscredit background checks. Information should remain locked up and employees should abide by laws that pertain to confidentiality. This means that it is important for HR employees to be knowledgeable of these laws. Employees not only need to uphold the confidentiality of paperwork but also technological systemsthey have to remain proficient in companies evolving technology advances.
