MemoLambdin EnterprisesMemoTo: MGMT 250 studentsFrom: Dr. Laura Lambdin LLDate: January 13, 2019 Subject: Final Team Presentation to InvestorsThe final team presentation to investors will be 15-20 minutes. It includes all of the parts developed during the semester. At least one person should be in charge of staging, rehearsal times, the overall Prezi or PPT slide show (just a couple words per slide), making sure everyone memorizes their section, and assigning responsibilities. You are asking a group of investors for money so know how much you need, what form it will go into, how much you expect to make for them, and when they will see a return.Introduction- Gain audience attention – skit (may be filmed in advance or live), game with prizes, sing/dance to jingle, chant slogan, etc.- Staging – where will each person stand- Costume – might match shirts under black suits, have logo buttons, etc (if you do a live skit with costumes think about how to get back into the suit)- Introduce each member by name and title. As names are called will they smile, wave, nod?- The audience isn’t blind or deaf, so don’t talk, laugh, or fight with each other once you getup there.Product or Service – Include Materials research- What is it?- Why is it needed?- From where will the necessary equipment and/or raw materials be bought?Consumer- Who needs your product or service?- How many of that sort of consumer live in the area?- Demographics – age, income, gender, locations of your specific consumer- Psychographics – values, beliefs, life style of your specific consumerHuman Resources- How many of each sort of employee (executives, salaried management, hourly/minimum wage)- Payment/benefitsEquipment- What do you need in factory, warehouse, office, store- How will you distributeMarketing- Quickly show all of the ads we have seen previously including the website- Show any new ideasFinal Presentation-2- Make sure that I get hard copies of all ads, your logo letterhead stationery, and your website.Money- Briefly go over financial documents (good idea to give handouts of them because they are so boring)- Discuss Profit Margin of how much it costs to make and for what amount it can be sold- How many investors do you need?- How much are you asking from investors?- What form will you use (like stocks, bonds, limited partnerships, etc.)?- How much is the expected rate of return?- When will investors receive profit form investments?- Realize that the last question on the audience form is “Would you invest? Why or why not?” followed by the grade. Give enough info to be convincing, but not dull.Conclusion- Contact info for investors and another reminder of how much you need and what form/rate of return/when.- Party/Gift with logo- If there is food or beverage involved, it needs to be precut ready to serve. Think about how it will be kept hot or cold. We don’t have any fridge or microwave, but you can leave coolers, props, etc in my classroom during other classes. How will it be cut or scooped? Remember to bring necessary plates, forks, napkins, cups, etc. Good idea to preplate or bag so it’s ready to go immediately and you don’t need to worry about it. Assign 2 or 3 team members to pass it quickly and 2 more to clean up afterTry to make it as much like a professional business presentation to potential investors aspossible while still maintaining audience awareness of college students and making it
