A link to the course portal can be found on the course web site. Prerequisites: CS 545; Consent of Instructor.This is a topics course so what students need to know before taking this course can change each time the course is offered.This semester students need to know Java for Android development. They need to know basic HTML. A lecture or two will be spent covering CSS and a lecture or two will be spend covering JavaScript.Grading: Your grade will be based on homework and three tests. Your grade in this course will be determined as follows:Assignments55%CSS, JavaScript, HTML5 Exam Feb 2215%jQuery Mobile, Phonegap Exam Apr 515%Android Exam May 1915% Late Policy: Late homework will be accepted, but with a penalty. An assignment turned in 1-7 days late, will lose 3% of the total value of the assignment per day late. The eight day late the penalty will be 40% of the assignment, the ninth day late the penalty will be 60%, after the ninth day late the penalty will be 90%. Once a solution to an assignment has been posted or discussed in class, the assignment will no longer be accepted.
