Set Default Location1. Remember to start Stellarium with the “fallback mode” option if you need to for your computer.2. Check to make sure that Terre Haute is still your default location. If not, reset that. (Note that “viewing location” means the latitude and longitude of Terre Haute, which can be found by opening the location menu.)3. Change your surroundings in another menu, if you like.II. Set Viewing OptionsSet the time to 7:00 pm (this is 19:00 army time) on November 16.III. Get the Data1. Find your galaxy. You will almost certainly have to use the search function in Stellarium to do so.2. While pointed at your galaxy, zoom in on it (mouse wheel controls zooming in and out), so that you can see its shape.3. Record a classification of your galaxy based on its apparent shape.4. Draw a picture of your galaxy. Use dark spots to indicate where the galaxy is bright.1VIII.
