Wearing make-up andfeminine hair style. - Artist caused controversy with homoerotic subjects. - Pluralism o Blends American society with other culture’s stereotypes.  Morimura, Portrait (Futago)- Mimics Manet’s Olympia - Artist depicts himself as the prostitute and poses with feminine qualities. Addresses women’s authority roles.  Mira Nair, Salaam Bombay!- Exposes life of India’s illiterate children that live life in the streets Yimou, Raise the Red Lantern - Chinese director reports the situation of Chinese women who remain oppressed and mistreated under patriarchy society.- Banned in China  Music: Phillip Glass, Koyannisqatsi - Earie music that plays along with a movie of tragic
