How similar are they in encoding in the brain and in brain activities?b.Imagery in the brain: research supports an overlap in brain areas that are necessary in imagery and perception.c.TMS can render parts of the brain that are dysfunctionald.Perception most likely has both, lower and higher vision centers in play and involves both bottom up and top down processinge.Imagery is a subset and can remain intact when perception is dysfunctional.
