They were also trying to convince women to put their money towards helping the military. They were also trying to get women to get military jobs and were trying to convince women that they had a role in major things such as the war.Lecture 9 (March 23)Describe the Cold War.The Cold War lasted more than 50 years between the United States and the Soviet Union. Both sides believed the other side could not be trusted and they both took actions that provoked andconcerned the other side. They wanted to keep it from spreading so they tried to make new policies to do so.
