Bring a pencil or two and an eraserb. How is the exam structured?i. 1 brief fill in the blank section ii. 22-ish multiple choice questions iii. 3 term identifications (give basic definition as described in class and then connect to anthropology, why it is important, etc.)iv. 2 short answer questions (about ½ page long each) v. About 45 minute long exam VIII. Observing Anthropologicallya. Thick/thin descriptions as part of the setup of anthropologyi. In interpreting any action or exchange you can describe them based on the surface values and also go deeper – levels of interpretation ii.
