Science Credit- 9. This is the only Earth we have.- 8. We need liquid water to survive & Earth has it.o There is water elsewhere in the solar system, but Earth has it in all 3 states of matter. - 7. Life on Earth is diverse and abundant. - 6. Earth’s resources are finite and many of them are non-renewable.- 5. Pollution of Earth’s resources can be a huge problem.- 4. We are dependent on fossil fuels, which are non-renewable.- 3. Human population growth, while slower than in the past, is still exponential.o More people, more waste, less resources to go around.- 2. Disasters Happeno It is necessary to study the patterns & plan carefully.- 1. Global Climate Changeo The class poses the question: have human beings altered natural cycles, due to our dependency on fossil fuels?IV.
