Psyc 100 1st Edition Lecture 1 Outline of Last Lecture I. Class OverviewOutline of Current Lecture I. Professor Introduced herselfII. Explanation of syllabus/expectationsIII. Explanation of materialsIV. Explanation of Extra Credit opportunitiesCurrent LectureI. This lecture was the first day of the semester. The professor took time to introduce herself and opened the floor to questions about herself. II. The professor went through the syllabus page by page pointing out exam dates as well as homework assignments. The professor made it clear that in order to do well in the class one must complete the required readings prior to class. Professor Rahaal expect that students will be able to complete readings the night before lectures and be able to write in class about the readings for points towards your grade.III. Professor Rahaal went onto explain the required course materials. The first required material was an actual book Forty Studies That Changed Psychology By: Roger R. Hock. The second required material was an online book which had been already billed to our bursar bill.IV. Professor Rahaal then went on to explain that she offers many extra credit opportunities. Opportunities include online surveys through an agency called Sona as well as participation in case studies. These notes represent a detailed interpretation of the professor’s lecture.
