The team assignments are included at the end of this document. Each team is responsible for the following: 1) Get together outside of class and delegate tasks; 2) Research the topic using the web other resources; 3) Develop a five-minute PowerPoint presentation, to be uploaded to Pilot by a designated team member prior to the day of the presentation (including references at the end); 4) Present to the class on the specified dates for each team (below) - each team member is required to speak; and 5) Submit a one-page hardcopy document the day of your presentation describing the division of labor between team members (i.e., who was responsible for which task and how much time was spent) with a signature from each member of the team at the bottom indicating mutual agreement. The presentation schedule is as follows, given by team number (again, refer to the attached team assignments): Date Wednesday October 22nd Friday October 24th Teams 1-7 8-14 Presentation grading rubric: a) Depth of research (how thoroughly the topic is covered in the allotted time): 20% b) Quality of visual presentation: 20% c) Quality of oral communication (separate grade for each student): 20% d) Division of labor (separate grade for each student based on submitted document): 20% e) Presentation fitting into the allotted time: 20% Additionally, each student is to electronically submit a two-page double-spaced document the day of the presentation summarizing the assigned topic and commenting on its relevance to society, mankind, and civilization.
