EGR 110 Engineering Graphics File: N110IA9 Inventor Assignment #9 Reading Assignment: Read Chapter 11 on sectional views in Parametric Modeling with Autodesk Inventor 2013, by Randy Shih Computer Assignment: Create a part for the Taper Collar shown below. Additional requirements: 1. Produce a three view drawing consisting of a top view, a front view in half section, and a sectioned isometric view on an A-size (portrait) sheet. The layout is illustrated on the following page. 2. All dimensions are in inches. 3. Use a material type of mild steel. 4. Include hidden lines in the unsectioned half of the sectioned view (front). 5. Properly dimension the drawing showing all required dimensions and centerlines in the top and sectioned views. Use linear diametric dimensions for the inside holes in the sectioned view. 6. Add appropriate information in the title block. 7. Add a note to the drawing indicating the mass of the object (as determined below). 8. Print the drawing file. 9. Find the physical properties of the part and copy them into a word-processing document. Add you name, course, and assignment number to the document. Print the document and attach it to your drawing file and submit it to the instructor.
