Therefore, two experiments were performed which investigated theissues related to this control process. The first was a simulation, utilizing Matlabscripts to simulate a physical system; the second was an actual temperaturecontrol experiment involving a holding tank of water with hot and cold waterinputs. The primary objective of performing this experiment was to gain anunderstanding of the response of a first-order system. This response wascharacterized by a time constant and a time delay, which were functions of thesystem parameters. Some important background material that may be of importance to the reader is___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The system’s behavior was predicted (see Analysis) using mathematical modelsand then tested (see Experimental Procedure) to see how favorably the system’sactual response followed the predicted response (see Results and Discussion). Conclusions based on data acquired are presented along with practicalapplications for utilizing the lessons learned in the laboratory.AnalysisAnalysisExplain the equations usedExplain the equations usedGive the reader an idea of how they areGive the reader an idea of how they areused and for whatused and for whatA list of equations means nothing, so youA list of equations means nothing, so youneed to guide the reader through yourneed to guide the reader through yourexplanationexplanationEquipment and ProcedureEquipment and ProcedureIn simple terms walk the reader throughIn simple terms walk the reader throughthe experiment.the experiment.Tell the reader how you did what you didTell the reader how you did what you didTell the reader what you used to do itTell the reader what you used to do itEquipment and Procedures (don’t COPY lab manual -approximately 2 pages – Tell about, don’t tell to doA pump is used to inject water of temperature Tinp into a
