Organized as requested; following directions is very important to college success.You will organize your notebook in several sections.-notes, checklists and vocabulary, Goal definition could go here or in it’s own.-Reflective Journal (1 Chapter on one page with Header information)-Inspiration Log (collect and share 5 per week)-Homework(You will want to have pockets for holding handouts and the syllabus. We will be pulling this out at the end of every class period.)2. Written in complete sentences.3. Spelling should be corrected.Tip: If you’re a poor speller carry a hand held dictionary.4. You will be actively involved in learning and integrating practical applications to promote success. You will develop a learning portfolio and an educational plan while enhancing critical thinking and study strategies.Organization of CourseLifeMaps explores four major journeys that we live. Inner journey. A main journey is one of learning more about yourself, your strengths, and your learning styles. This journey includes gaining confidence in yourself as you become part of the college community.  Learning journey. This journey includes active learning, effective and efficient study strategies, effective test-taking, and time management.  College Journey. We will explore the journey of college, using resources, and understanding the processes.  Life Journey. All of these journeys are involved in forming the career path you choose.
