A student who misses a session must contact the laboratory instructor before the next laboratory meeting to make up missed work. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the student being dropped from the course.EXAMINATION and GRADING POLICY: Laboratory: The laboratory grade will constitute approximately 1/3rd of the final grade for BIO 130. 90% of the laboratory grade will be computed based upon the average of two (2) laboratory exams and 10% based on total points accumulated on laboratory assignments (points will be subtracted for late assignments) and quizzes (no makeup will be given for a missed quiz but quizzes can be taken in advance).
