Your success in the course will depend on your attendance and participation in the classroom. Please use e-mail to notify me in advance if you are unable to attend a class meeting. You are fully responsible for any homework that was assigned or covered in the missed classes. See the section on homework below.Disclaimer:The above is a tentative list of topics to be covered. Topics covered may vary depending on external factorsHomework:All homework assignments –case study exercises - must be completed in order to receive a passing grade. Notes used in the class discussion of the case study exercise will be handed in at the end of the class discussion. These notes will be in typed format.Class Participation: Class participation is expected. I expect you will have completed the reading assignment before I lecture over the material. And in addition be prepared to participate in the case study exercise discussions.Examinations: All examinations will be objective examinations - multiple choice, true/false, and/or fill in questions.Grading:Your final grade will be based on the four in class exams, the case studies, and your participation and attendance in the class. The weights of these are as follows: 70% for the exams, 20% for the case study exercises; and 10% for participation and attendance. All case study exercises must be completed in order to receive a passing grade.Undergraduate/MBA Courses:This course is offered for undergraduate credit only.Make-up Policy:If classes, homework assignments, or exams cannot be completed at the expected time due to reasonable conflicts (e.g. out of town on business, illness, et. al.) that work can be made up. However I do require notification of those conflicts as soon as possible.Prerequisites:"It is the responsibility of the student to meet all prerequisite requirements for courses in which the student is enrolled.
