Because of the many threats that could come from the Internet and other untrusted networks, firewalls are used to protect individual computers and network resources in general against security attacks. Your Job:Search the Internet and use the provided material (see below) in order to discuss the following in about 5 pages (1.5 line spacing): What are firewalls and what are their main functions? What are the different generations of firewalls and how they differ? What is “Next Generation Firewalls”?
